Mandala Flower Crown (Free Printable Coloring Page)

Flower crowns were all the rage in the 60’s. After all, flower power is where its at.

Somehow, living in the city, I am usually starved for the beauty of natures own color palette. Flowers, and flower bushes, are specifically reserved for parks or private gardens.

This flower crown mandala brings a little piece of nature inside to me. It inspires me to bring color into a small little world I’ve created for myself. Where I am the master of the pencil, and the paper, and bring about joyous creations that I never thought could have existed.

I thought it might be a fun idea to share some of the flowers to inspired me in the creation of this mandala, and perhaps, you will find your own inspiration in these flowers.

I loved this flower combination, and in the below picture of where you can see where I’ve been coloring in – I decided to use the red, orange and yellow.

Of course, you can use any color scheme you like – the world is your oyster when coloring in.

Beautiful! The only flower chains I ever made were with dandelions, still one of my favorite flowers. ๐Ÿ™‚ The flowers in your chain are so pretty! Thanks for sharing this lovely design! I look forward to coloring it!

Oh, thank you for the color chart for the Faber Castell polycroms 60. I filled it in today.

I’m still getting to know all the beautiful colors in this set. Filling in the chart got us to know each other well.

Thank you so much for taking the time to create and share your colour chart. I’ve just printed it out and really like the fact that there are three depths of colour to choose from. I wish I’d spotted it last night! I sat there long after I should have been in bed, scribbling “dark” squares of each of my 60 pencils. It never occurred to me that it would make far more sense to do three shades of the colour for future reference.

Like most adult colourers, I am new to this lovely hobby. I started out with a set of, I think it is 60 “scholar” Prisma colours and have just recently opened my shiny new box of 60 FC.

The biggest challenge I have with my pencils is trying to match what I now own to what I am seeing used on YouTube tutorials that catch my eye. I love what I see and I want to “copy” it! Invariably the colourer is using Prisma colour “Premium” and the numbers don’t match what I have. ! Have you found a solution that is a quick reference if you are ?using FC

Hi Louise, I have found a very good solution. I’m doing my own color combinations … I used the 60 set as that is what most people tend to have, keep checking in and I’ll be posting some examples soon ๐Ÿ™‚

Hello again. Thanks so much for your comment. Since writing to you I have purchased the 132 set of Prisma Premiers. I have not found a colour chart as nice as yours. I really like the way my FC pencil samples look on your 60 chart.

The other night I lined up my new Prisma P’s according to a chart I found … but somehow it doesn’t look as nice as the way you have done your chart. If you ever splurge for the set of 132 I’d love to get a copy of your colour chart.

All the best with your new baby!
